Donald James Burns Memorial Scholarship
The Donald Burns Memorial Scholarship is a cash award to a deserving 4H or FFA member from Clackamas County who exhibits the desire to pursue a beef project. The award will be cash to be used toward the purchase of a steer or heifer to be raised and shown at the Clackamas County Fair in 4H or FFA . Our goal is to provide an opportunity for a young person to learn important life skills that will enable them to succeed.
Since Donald’s passion was Hereford cattle, the award will be $1000.00 for a purebred Hereford animal or $800.00 for an animal of another breed. The award would be paid upon proof of selection and purchase of the animal.
